The German-made Könner & Söhnen® 60A (24–27.5V) constant-voltage generator is a powerful and reliable backup charger designed for 24V batteries. Charging with a DC generator is highly efficient, requires no additional voltage conversion and saves fuel compared to conventional AC generators. It features an AUTOMATIC mode, which operates as a charger, and a MANUAL/EXTERNAL mode for manual start-up or start-up via an external device. The durable metal casing reduces noise and protects against damage. It is also fitted with a monitoring system.

ADVANTAGES

  • The ideal solution for charging batteries in 24V power systems, such as solar power stations, CCTV and security systems, for battery maintenance/charging whilst a vehicle is parked, and in other applications.
  • Automatic generator operation: in „Auto“ mode, the generator acts as a battery charger – when the battery runs low, it starts up automatically and charges the battery; once charging is complete, the generator stops and switches to standby mode.
  • Manual/external operating mode: in this mode, you can start the generator manually or via an external device using “dry contacts”.
